Jacob started Accomplish Health to deliver the same type of care that helped him lose 71 pounds and control his type 1 diabetes and chronic pain. He is a serial entrepreneur and investor in 40+ venture backed companies. Jacob previously Co-Founded Benny, a Google Ventures backed freelancer# fintech/insurtech, and the seed/early stage micro VC firm MESA Ventures.
He has advised health insurance and reinsurance firms like Reinsurance Group of America and Mutual of Omaha on digital transformation and completed training at the Mayo Clinic to become a certified wellness coach.
Tina is a healthcare and startup veteran with over two decades of experience in clinical operations. She was previously the COO of the genomics startup Phosphorous and Director of Operations at its predecessor company Recombine (acquired by Cooper Surgical).
Before joining the startup world, Tina held numerous executive positions at Planned Parenthood including launching and scaling the revenue cycle management function nationwide.
She has also held clinical operations positions at clinics operated by Columbia University and Johns Hopkins. She earned her Masters in Public Health from Columbia University.
Dr. Michael Albert
Dr. Albert is board certified in Internal Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Prior to joining Accomplish Health, he served a joint faculty appointment at Cedars-Sinai and UCLA. Dr. Albert founded the Medical Weight Loss Program at Cedars-Sinai under the Weight Loss Center.
Dr. Albert completed his internship and residency at Cedars-Sinai, where he also served as the Kennamer Fellow for UCLA. He earned his MD from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and his BS from Duke University.
Dr. Albert is the cohost of the Impossible Healthcare podcast and is an active social media user, including TikTok where he educates his over 200k followers on obesity and healthy weight loss.
Dr. Joel V. Brill
Joel is an executive clinician with over 30 years of experience providing strategic leadership and medical oversight to data-driven health organizations.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Brill was the lead author of the obesity care guidelines for the American Gastroenterology Association and has been an instructor for Columbia Medical School’s obesity medicine course for the past seven years.
He has held management positions and serves on Scientific / Editorial Advisory Boards / Committees for several managed care companies and journals (including chairing United Health’s gastroenterology scientific advisory board for three years). He has authored over 190 CPT code applications, participates in the CPT Editorial Panel and the RBRVS Update Committee, and co-chaired the Part D medication measures Technical Expert Panel for CMS.
