  • Medical weight loss is the process of treating unhealthy weight under the care and guidance of a healthcare professional.

  • Accomplish Health is a telehealth provider that pairs patients with a team of specialists (physicians and dietitians) to treat unhealthy weight and provide personalized medical weight loss and coaching.

    Here’s what to expect:

    • Regular visits with an obesity medicine specialist physician and registered dietitian

    • Prescriptions for medication, as deemed appropriate by your physician

    • Diagnostic testing, as needed to monitor your progress

    • Support for prior authorizations and other insurance paperwork

  • An obesity medicine specialist is a board-certified physician with additional specialized education and training in preventing and treating obesity and related disorders.

  • A Registered Dietitcan is a health professional trained in nutrition and its relationship to human health. Your Registered Dietician will help you develop healthy eating habits and plan your nutrition based on your medical needs.

    Your dietician will also be your guide to our health coaching program. They’ll work with you to make meaningful changes to your lifestyle, and develop new habits across our Four Pillars of Health (Nutrition, Movement, Sleep, and Well-being).

  • We do not guarantee a specific weight loss percentage because we treat people, not numbers. We understand that there is no easy fix to change your health, and that is why we take the long-term view when working with people and believe our evidence-based and sustainable approach to weight loss will change your life.

  • Accomplish Health focuses on weight management and is not a replacement for your primary care provider or other specialists you may see. Healthy weight loss can lead to improvements for many different health conditions. Our care team will work with your other providers to ensure you are receiving the best care.

  • Yes, our healthcare professionals can prescribe GLP-1 and other anti-obesity medications as part of a comprehensive weight management plan. All prescriptions are written at the discretion of the provider.

  • Yes, our specialists can help patients with prior authorizations for medications like GLP-1 agonists to ensure that they receive the medications they need.

  • Yes! Our clinic is entirely virtual. All visits are conducted via videocall, and you’ll check in for visits via a link sent to you via text and email. All patients have access to our patient portal, where you can communicate with our providers and staff, see your test results and visit summaries, and review billing information.

  • To sign up for Accomplish Health, all you need is a computer or smart phone. We recommend that you use a computer to join visits with your provider.

    For some patients, providers may recommend that you use a smart device to help us monitor your weight and/or blood pressure. Your physician will discuss your options with you at your first visit.

  • Our team reviews every application to ensure you are eligible for our program. Please ensure you accurately complete our appointment request form, or we may need to contact you to verify your information.

    If you are eligible, we will send instructions via email on how to schedule your initial visit via our patient portal. In a separate email, you’ll receive an invitation to create your account on the portal.

    Before your first visit, you’ll receive a link via email and text message with your intake forms. These forms ask for your medical history and other information we need to provide you with the best possible care. Please note that these forms must be completed before your initial visit can take place.

  • Currently, Accomplish Health is only in network with BCBS, Cigna, United Healthcare and Medicare. We are working on contracting with other commercial insurance plans and will post updates to this FAQ.

    If you have another insurance provider and have a plan with out of network benefits, we can also bill your insurance for your provider visits. It is your responsibility to confirm you have out of network benefits.

    You are responsible for meeting any deductibles and paying any copays or coinsurance.

  • If you don’t have BCBS, Cigna, UHC, or Medicare, or a plan with out of network benefits, we also offer a self-pay option per visit. This does not include the cost of diagnostic testing and medications. If you have insurance, your insurance still may cover these services. Please get in touch with us to learn more.
